OUR METHODOLOGY

How every session is structured

Every Phet Mongkhon workshop follows a consistent structure: we begin by exploring where participants currently stand, move through the core subject material at a pace set by the group, work through real scenarios together, and close with personal action steps that each participant takes home.

No session is purely theoretical. Workbooks contain exercises completed during the session, and facilitators draw on current Thai financial conditions throughout.

1

Where you are now

A brief opening exercise helps each participant articulate their starting point and what they most want to clarify.

2

Core knowledge building

Facilitator-led content on the session topic, grounded in current Thai conditions and illustrated with real examples.

3

Applied scenarios

Participants work through realistic situations from the workbook, applying new knowledge to cases that resemble their own.

4

Personal action steps

Each participant leaves with 2–3 concrete steps they can take in the coming days, tailored to their own situation.

WORKSHOP ONE

Cash vs Card Decision Workshop

A practical half-day session exploring the everyday choice between cash and electronic payment methods. We do not advocate for one over the other — we give you the framework to decide what genuinely suits your spending patterns, habits, and risk comfort.

  • Fee structures across Thai bank cards and digital wallets
  • Reward programme evaluation — when points add value, when they do not
  • Security practices for contactless and online payment methods
  • Practical scenarios: markets, travel, large purchases, bills

Process steps

1

Spending audit exercise — map your current cash/card usage

2

Fee and reward comparison with current Thai bank offerings

3

Security scenario review and personal risk assessment
